Hair Loss Remedies

Nowhere has the selling of natural baldness remedies been more rampant than in the USA. Barkers in travelling carnivals and so called tent shows, tried selling hair loss ointments and other baldness cures to mostly men. Men spent huge sums on salves, balms, oils, plasters, powders and drinks that were said to cure hair loss.

Today, many of these same natural hair loss cures are sold, while some home-made hair loss remedies persist, though there is little evidence that they work. Just think about it: if hair loss cures worked, we’d surely know about it. Men and women have been trying to stop hair loss for as long as there have been men and women. The cure would be trumpeted from the rooftops, it would be headline news around the globe, and studies would prove the effectiveness. There would be a definitive announcement by Health Authorities. “This just in…a mixture of pigeon dung and mustard powder applied to your head twice daily has been proven to be the the natural cure for balding. More at 11.” Municipalities would probably put the cure in our drinking water!
